Zach Randolph arrested for possessing 2 pounds weeds – Photos

This is something simply unbelievable. It is a developing story and things are looking rather fizzy at the moment. It is being alleged that NBA star Zach Randolph has been arrested in Los Angeles for possession of a huge amount of weed.

It is not just the discovery of the weed that is important. For more important is the amount of the weed that has allegedly been discovered from his possession.

A TMZ report, while supplying the initial updates in the matter said that the NBA star had around 2 pounds of weed with him when police pounced upon him and arrested him. The TMZ report says that this massive amount of weed was kept in a “large backpack.”

Los Angeles Police Department officials were reportedly called to the Nickerson Gardens area in L.A. around 10 PM. When the police contingent arrived on the scene, it found a large number of people smoking. At least three people were scene trying to flee the place and the police officer following them.

Later, police officers arrested three people including Randolph, who was eventually arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to sell.

36-year old Zachary McKenley Randolph is a professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The player is among the costliest players right now and has been Nicknamed “Z-Bo”, the two-time NBA All-Star played college basketball for Michigan State University before being drafted in the 2001 NBA draft by the Portland Trail Blazers. He has played for five teams over the course of his professional career, making the All-NBA Third Team in 2011 with the Grizzlies.

On July 10, 2017, Randolph signed a two-year, $24 million contract with the Sacramento Kings. Prior to Randolph’s signing with the Kings, the Grizzlies announced that #50 would never be worn again by another Grizzly and would eventually retire it in the future.
