Kolkata: The long wait for hundreds of thousands of students in West Bengal is finally over. After a rather very long and tiresome wait for students, West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has made the class 10 results public in the state.
Hundreds of thousands of students sit for their 10th or madhyamik pariksha exams annually and this year it was no exception. The fifteen or sixteen year old, who sit for the exam, the first major exam of their lives want their results to be out at the earliest.
Nonetheless, it is usually not before one and half months when they get their results in their hands. While the results have been announced, the physical copies of results will be available only a few weeks later.
If you or your ward appeared for madhyamik pariksha exams, you can now check their scores at the official result hosting portal of the Board www.wbresults.nic.in. Students shall have to use their roll number and date of birth may be for retrieving the result online.
Students want to do well in their exams to be able to choose subjects of their choice later. The result will help students apply for intermediate courses in different schools and colleges. WBBSE had announced the madhyamik result 2017 date two days before making it convenient for students. By declaring the exact date of the result declaration the Board not only brought an end to the anticipation but relieved students from anxiety, who often remain glued to internet for result related updates.
It is advised that students should save either a physical or electronic copy of their marks as it may come handy while applying for admission now. Board may also call applications for revaluation. Students, who would wish to go for revaluation can apply only after Board issues a notification in this regard.
