Beyoncé has a heart of gold. There is no doubt about it. The singer who gained fame and riches initially through her R&B girl group Destiny’s Child, further impressed her already massive fan base when she made a Facebook call to a teenaged cancer patient.
A CBS report says that Ebony Banks is a big Beyoncé fan. She is reportedly suffering from a rare form of cancer and must be feeling extremely depressed due to her ongoing treatment and the haplessness she feels while fighting the killer disease at such a young age.
A Billboard report while talking about it says that “Ebony Banks, a senior at Alief Hastings High School in Houston, is battling stage 4 of a rare form of cancer. Knowing Banks’ dream was to meet Beyoncé, her friends launched a social-media campaign with the hashtag #EBOBMEETSBEYONCE in hopes of gaining the superstar’s attention”.
Banks’ classmate Karina Gutierrez says, “She admires her so much, so we’re trying to put that on Twitter and Instagram.” After a few days, the viral campaign proved successful, and Beyoncé was reached.

When the singer and actress called the teenager, it overwhelmed the teenaged girl so much that she fumbled for words. “I love you Beyoncé,” Banks tearfully said from her hospital bed, to which the Queen Bey responded with a touching “I love you too.” Watch the FaceTime clip below.
