This is something that has shocked millions of people not just in the US but elsewhere too. Jared McLemore, 33, reportedly set himself afire and streamed the entire incident including pouring of kerosene on his body on Facebook Live.
The 33-year old Tennessee man died on the spot, while a person who tried to save him from the fire also sustained injuries. The man who got burnt badly in the process of saving Jared McLemore is struggling for his life in a hospital.

The entire incident seems to have been saved in the video that shows a man sitting only in his trousers on the ground and dousing himself with kerosene. You can see a person desperately trying to save him. to be true, he on top of the person making suicide attempt, but McLemore burst into flames. Frantic screams can be heard in the background. Witnesses said they saw McLemore — who’s a well-known musician in the Memphis area — running into Murphy’s bar on Madison Ave. early Saturday moments after setting himself on fire.
Reports suggest that the person is a well known musician in his locality. Jim Duckworth, an acquaintance and a musician says, “This overwhelming smell of kerosene filled the room…Before you see anything, the smell filled the room.”
His girlfriend Kimberly Koehler who was shocked beyond words says he looked as if he was wearing a suite made of fire. She described her boyfriend as someone who was “wearing a flame-retardant suit.” She went on to add, “There were some people who thought that it was a joke”.
A report says that when the incident took place, his ex-girlfriend, Alyssa Moore, was also nearby. “Jared approached Alyssa and mumbled something about ‘goodbye,’ then grabbed her arm and wiped it on his chest to show he was covered in kerosene” a report said. Reports suggest that he had earlier tried to kill his girlfriend Moore before.
