Theresa Hrindo, New Jersey Catholic High School Teacher Arrested for Sleeping with Student – Photos

ViewsHeadlines Desk,

New Jersey- A Catholic high school teacher has reportedly been arrested for having sex with a school student on multiple occasions and texting him nude pictures. The teacher apparently taught at Roselle Catholic High School.

25-year old Theresa Hrindo, who has been released on bail after being arrested, may be jailed for ten years if convicted in the court.

She apparently faces serious charges of having sex and keeping illicit relations with an underage student of the school where she was teaching.

Reports suggest that the illegitimate and abdominal sexual relationship between a teacher and an underage child continued for at least two months and they met and had sex on multiple occasions. They had such relationship from the beginning of last December to Feb. 2017.

There are chances that this would have continued for even longer, had the authorities were not alerted about it. Theresa Hrindo was apparently suspended when the Archdiocese of Newark reported the allegations to authorities

The Union County Prosecutor’s Office said that the 25-year old teacher got involved with a 15-year old male student from last December through this February while working at Roselle Catholic High School. The prosecutor’s office said that the technology teacher who actually graduated from that same school in 2010 and from Kean University in 2014 has been suspended from her job since then.

A spokesperson for Archdiocese of Newark said, “When we became aware of the allegation we reported it immediately to the prosecutor’s office, and the school and the archdiocese have been cooperating with the prosecutors throughout the last couple of weeks”.

In the meantime Hrindo, of Linden, is charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and a single count of hindering apprehension. The last count came as a result of Hrindo allegedly deleting incriminating images and files from the involved student’s phone.
