Elizabeth Thomas was kidnapped by her own teacher, Tad Cummins more than a fortnight ago. Till now they remain untraceable though recently a footage of the 50-year old teacher and his 15-year old ‘hostage’ was released by the officials.
But the footage was of merely a few seconds and the two haven’t been traceable since then. Officials claim that the Tad Cummins had changed the color of his beard, though, overall he didn’t seem to have changed his outlook.
Elizabeth Thomas, on the other hand had colored her hair red. The girl also seems to have gained some weight despite the fact that she is on the run in the company of her teacher who is some 35 years older than her.
In the meantime reports suggest that the disgraced teacher, who has a pending warrant against him is all set to lose his wife. A report says that his wife has filed for divorce in Tennessee, one of two states in which the husband is the subject of Amber Alerts.
Tad Cummin’s wife, Jill Cummins, has been demanding her husband to send the girl to her parents’ home and turn himself in. now as there was no trace of her husband over the last several weeks, she has decided to file for divorce.
The divorce will bring to end their more than thirty year old married life. Tad and Jill Cummins are married for 31 years now. Jill Cummins accuses her husband of “inappropriate marital conduct” and says irreconcilable differences have arisen in the marriage, according to documents obtained by the Tennessee TV station.
Officials in NASHVILLE, Tenn. have concluded that they are pretty sure that Elizabeth Thomas and Tad Cummins were sighted in Oklahoma more than two weeks ago. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says surveillance images obtained from a Walmart in Oklahoma City show teacher Tad Cummins and Elizabeth Thomas purchasing food items in the store with cash. The statement says the images captured on March 15 show Cummins had altered his hair to appear darker and Thomas may have changed her hair color to red.
An Amber Alert is already in place regarding the 15-year old girl who reportedly went missing on March 13 from Culleoka, a Tennessee community about 60 miles south of Nashville.
