Nick Foles and wife Tori Moore: The life of a celebrity couple
MINNEAPOLIS — Justin Timberlake has been crowned Super Bowl MVP. This is an honor that not many had expected to come his way at the beginning of the season. But a spate of stunning performances has made him a hero and got him hundreds of thousands of new fan-following.
The 29-year old football quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles brought immense joy to the Eagles’ fans. Along with cheers he also delivered the city its first Super Bowl title.
Even the most ardent supporters of the team were not expecting such a huge win for the team. And when it finally came, tens of thousands of the fans poured onto roads to support the side and celebrate the occasion that finally came their way.
There is no denying that Nick Foles’ performance brought the victory for the Eagles. Foles, who took over when Carson Wentz injured his right knee in mid-December, matched the five-time champion and three-time MVP big play for big play Sunday in leading the Eagles past the New England Patriots 41-33. The Philadephia Eagles’ prized quarterback threw the go-ahead touchdown to tight end Zach Ertz from 11 yards on third-and-7 with 2:21 remaining, capping a seven-minute, 14-play drive that covered 75 yards, kept Brady cooling his cleats on the sideline and allowed the Eagles’ exhausted defenders to catch their collective breath in a game that featured 1,151 total yards, the most in any NFL game in the Super Bowl era.
Nick Foles has been on cloud nine after winning the Super Bowl MVP. His return to the Eagles has been handsomely paid. Foles completed 6 of 10 passes for 42 yards as the Eagles won 43–35, clinching their first division title since 2012. On December 11, 2017, head coach Doug Pederson announced that Foles would be the starter after Wentz was ruled out for the season. Starting his first game of the season in Week 15, Foles threw for 237 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 34-29 victory against the Giants. On January 13, 2018, the Eagles defeated the Atlanta Falcons 15-10, in the NFC Divisional playoff game, with Foles completing 23 of 30 passes for 246 yards. This was the Eagles’ first playoff victory in nine seasons. On January 21, 2018, the Eagles defeated the Minnesota Vikings, 38-7, in the NFC Championship Game, with Foles going 26 of 33 for 352 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Vikings were 3 point favorites with the league’s top-ranked defense entering the game.
Fole is married to Tori Moore, who is the younger sister of former NFL tight end Evan Moore. Moore and Foles were briefly teammates with the Eagles in 2012.
