Merely a few days after a plane crash in Utah that killed four people who were going on a vacation, another small aircraft reportedly crashed in Connecticut. Thankfully there are no reports of loss of life in the incident three people have been injured.
Reports suggest that three people travelling in a small aircraft were injured, one seriously, who is in critical condition, when their plane crashed at Danbury Airport.
While talking about the development, Mayor Mark Boughton tweeted Sunday that a plane crashed while taking off from Danbury Airport.
While more details about the incident are yet to be revealed, FAA said that a Cessna 172S crashed after taking off around 10:25 a.m. The FAA and NTSB have been called in to investigate.
Officials suggest that the aircraft went down in the area of Miry Brook Road and Backus Avenue. The nearby Danbury Dog Park is closed due to the investigation
