Samajwadi Party (SP) List of Muslim Candidates for UP Election 2017: Only 64 from community

ViewsHeadlines Desk,

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party seems to have lost the game. It is not surprising for anyone. That state that votes for the 7phased assembly election beginning tomorrow is certain to bring a different party to the government. While Samajwadi Party is doing everything to ensure that it doesn’t happen, there are telltale signs that this is precisely what is going to happen.

The alliance with the Congress may not be able to save the UP’s ruling party. There is no denying that despite the campaigning done by the Congress party in the last two years, it has failed to become relevant in the state politics. This may be due to the total decimation of Congress party structure on the ground. While some movement has been made in this regard recently, it is difficult to believe that it may turn into translation when the election is being fought on the basis of local issues.

What is true about the Congress is also true about the BJP. The party is banking totally and completely on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and it shows on the strength of its local leadership. This may be the reason that the party hasn’t projected anyone as its chief ministerial candidate.

Here is Samajwadi Party (SP) List of Muslim Candidates for UP Election 2017. The party has pitted only 64 candidates from community.
