Ram Jayakumar, missing Indian American was last seen in Boston – Photos

Ram Jayakumar, a resident of Lexington is missing for the last one week with no trace so far. The Indian origin man who is said to be missing since last Friday hasn’t been heard or seen since then. Massive search is on for the youth who has reportedly graduated from Brown University in Providence, Richmond.

His parents claim that their son left home around 7:15 p.m. Friday night telling them that he will be back within an hour. But since then he hasn’t returned his home. The youth was last seen parking his car at the Vendata Society on Deerfield Street in Boston.

In the meantime, well-known HBO actress, Poorna Jagannathan, who is a close relative of Ram Jayakumar has asked people to inform her and cops in case they happen to know anything leading to him. “Need your help urgently. Please share this in your communities. Please be on the look out and let the Lexington police know if you have any leads,” Jagannathan wrote on the social networking site.




Poorna Jagannathan’s Facebook appeal has been shared by tens of thousands of people thus far with people still expressing their sympathies for the 26-year old youth and praying for his safe return home.

Police have asked people to come forward in case they come to know anything about him. Police have Ram as of Indian descent, who has black hair, is 5’6″ tall and weighs 120 pounds (54 kg). He graduated from Brown University in Providence, Richmond. Police while asking people to come forward with info said, “Ram wears glasses and was last seen with a blue backpack. He left home in Lexington on May 11 at 7.15 p.m. in his car and informed his parents that he would be back in an hour but did not return”. Anyone with information is asked to call Lexington police at 781-862-1212.
