ViewsHeadlines Desk,

Donald Trump presidency seems to be suffering from serious issues. While an investigation is underway for Russian role in the presidential election, there are other issues that seem to have unnerved many White House officials.

A CBSNews reports claims that White House Communications Director Mike Dubke had called it quits. But the issue may not be as important for the embattled President, Donald Trump, as Jared Kushner, who is allegedly under FBI scrutiny for talking about a secured line of communication with Russian government.

47-year old Dubke has worked in political affairs since the 1980s, and was a founder of Crossroads Media. A native of Hamburg, New York, he attended Hamburg High School and later graduated from Hamilton College. It is apparent that he got involved in political affairs at a rather very young age. Several of the organizations that he has worked for operate out of the same office building at 66 Canal Center Plaza, Suite 555, Alexandria, Virginia. Questions about election ethics have been raised based on the organizations’ various connections to political campaigns.

The CBSNews report says that Dubke was hired to be communications director when White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer was asked to focus on the briefing job and drop the time-consuming obligations of the job. The communications director oversees the White House messaging and promotes its agenda.

In the meantime, White House has confirmed that Dubke has resigned. White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus told the media that despite resigning, Dubke had agreed to stay on until President Trump returned from his world tour.

Priebus went on to add, “Mike tendered his resignation just before the President’s historic international trip and offered to remain onboard until a transition is concluded…Mike will assist with the transition and be a strong advocate for the President and the President’s policies moving forward.

In an email to his friends, Dubke said, “The reasons for my departure are personal…but it has been my great honor to serve President Trump and this administration…It has also been my distinct pleasure to work side-by-side, day-by-day with the staff of the communications and press departments…This White House is filled with some of the finest and hardest working men and women in the American Government.”

Dubke is married to Shannon. They have two teenaged boys. The family resides in Alexandria, Virginia, just 8 miles south of the White House. According to her LinkedIn page, Shannon is the CEO at D Enterprises Inc., a retail company. Dubke is reportedly a season ticket holder for his favorite team in the NFL, the Buffalo Bills.
