MCD elections 2017 – AIMIM’s Asaduddin Owaisi attracts thousands in Abul Fazal Enclave

ViewsHeadlines Desk,

New Delhi: All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi addressed a massive election rally in Abul Fazal Enclave’s Shaheen Bagh area. Tens of thousands of people, mostly youth, attended his meeting that was held for canvassing the Hyderabad-based party’s candidate from the area Arif Saifi.

There is no denying that Asaduddin Owaisi, the firebrand leader and a good orator has become a favorite speaker among Muslim youth in much of North India. It is despite his party flopping miserably in election after election.

While a large number of people come to see him deliver Hyderabad style high decibel speeches, but they vote their other favored candidates. He seems to have enough fun quotient for the masses in different parts of the country, but his attraction precisely ends here.

As the temperature rises to around 45 degrees in the Indian capital, the political temperature is matching it step by step. On 23rd April, when polling will be held for MCD election 2017, the heat will be on its zenith and it will be interesting to see as to how many people actually come out to vote when the fear of heatstroke will be highest.
