Another shooting is being reported at a school. Reports suggest that at least one person has died in the shooting. Reports also suggest that there are several injured.

The shooting reportedly took place at Marshall County High School in Benton, Ky. The name of the person who lost his life hasn’t been revealed as yet, nonetheless officials have asked people not to indulge in speculations.

In the meantime, reports suggest that the person who was behind the mindless shooting at Marshall County High School has been taken into custody. The news about the shooter’s arrest from the scene was announced by Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin. It is also being said that with the arrest of the shooter, the threat to the school was finally over after several hours of horror.




In a tweet the Kentucky Governor said, “Tragic shooting at Marshall County HS…Shooter is in custody, one confirmed fatality, multiple others wounded…Much yet unknown…Please do not speculate or spread hearsay…Let’s let the first responders do their job and be grateful that they are there to do it for us…”

In the meantime, CNN claims that at least seven people have been to hospitals, some by helicopter. The news was reportedly confirmed by none other than Darlene Lynn of Marshall County Emergency Management. The CNN report went on to add that a 15-year-old female student was shot Monday. The suspect, a 16-year-old male, was “apprehended within minutes,” the statement said.
