The news of Dileep ‘s arrest was announced and confirmed by none other than the office of Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The actor was arrested Monday evening arrested by a Kerala Police team probing the abduction of a popular actress in February this year.

The actor was not arrested suddenly. There were suspicious of his involvement in the case after the criminals who had committed the crime led the police to Dileep. The actor had been questioned last month for 13 hours in the case and was let off.
