Lee Kaplan has been alleged to have sexually exploited six girls from the same family. Six girls, eldest of whom is 18 years of age were sexually exploited over the years by the 50-year old man, father two children from two of the girls.
The news of such exploitation of children in United States has simply shocked the world. it is all the more shocking that how parents of the girls allowed their child to be sexually exploited so openly. The mother told the jurors that she saw him taking her daughter to bed and didn’t think anything negatively about the monster.
Now, while the man has been convicted of sexually assaulting six girls, people are wondering as to who will compensate the girls with their lost childhood and the sexual exploitation that the children will never be able to forget. To be true, they were indoctrinated in such a way that they had started taking their exploitation as fate accompli.
A Philly report says that the Bucks County man was convicted Tuesday on all 17 child sexual-assault charges against him. the report goes on to add that the verdict by a Bucks County Court jury, which deliberated more than nine hours, came almost exactly a year after Kaplan was discovered housing nine sisters, their mother, and two children he fathered with the oldest girl in his Feasterville home, who police were told had been “gifted” to him by her parents.
The children’s parents, Daniel and Savilla Stoltzfus, had gifted him their eldest daughter, when she was all of seven years when he helped the family out when it was suffering from financial ruin. Over time, he made it clear he would take more as his wives.
The news came out in the open last year and Kaplan was arrested from his home, about 20 miles northeast of Philadelphia, in June 2016 after receiving a complaint about the health and safety of numerous children. When police responded, they discovered 11 girls living there. Kaplan allegedly admitted to police that he fathered the two youngest children – a 3-year-old and a 10-month-old – with the oldest girl, who was 18, according to CBS Philly.
Police reports suggest that the girls’ father told them he and his wife “gifted” one of their daughters to Kaplan after he financially helped the couple. When the family was evicted from their Kirkwood home in 2009, the two older girls were sent to live with Kaplan, the girls’ mother testified. The mother said the couple had promised Kaplan that their second-oldest daughter, then 9, would be his wife when she was older, according to Lancaster Online. Kaplan eventually made it clear he would take all six of the oldest girls as “wives,” though the parents never specifically agreed to it, the mother testified, according to Philly.com.
The mother of the girls told police, “I always trusted him that whatever goes on is a good thing”. Several of the girls also testified, saying they considered themselves to be Kaplan’s “wives.” The mother testified she, too, eventually lived with Kaplan and considered herself his wife.
