While many airlines explicitly ask their passengers not to sneak into lavatory in the company of opposite sex, when it comes to Virgin Atlantic, there is probably no such rule. But don’t take it as a clear permission to enjoy the flight in a different way while flying thousands of feet above in the sky.
But precisely this seems to have happened on a flight from London Heathrow to Miami. A passenger who watched the couple go inside the lavatory, despite being shocked was so much alert that he recorded the entire incident on his camera.
The same video clip was later put on Youtube where it has been watched by millions and millions of people in the course of just a few days. The passenger who recorded the clip identified himself as David Eve.
The video has already been seen by more than 6 million people till now, and the way there is a sort of mad rush of people to watch this rather hilarious clip, there is every reason to believe that it will break many a records in the coming days.
The clip also got the fancy of the airline company that also shared it on its Facebook page and went on to confirm it was one of their flights. “We’re pretty sure that’s our plane! The mood lighting certainly put a smile on their faces. #smilehighclub,” Virgin Atlantic wrote. The whole incident reportedly took place on July 4.
A report in Business Insider says, “Richard Branson, head of Virgin Atlantic, has pledged that his employees are not the type to ‘bang on lavatory doors when a couple slips in there.’ The airline even installed double beds with privacy screens in some aircraft, for a ‘more intimate flight.’” I wonder if this will prompt more passengers at having sex on Virgin Atlantic airlines flights. The Mile High Club may become a new trend. You can watch Youtube video here.
