Former MTV reality star Danny Dias has reportedly died. The 34-year reality TV star started making headlines around and half decades ago and at one point of time he was perceived to have a great future in Hollywood.
While there are no confirmed reports of how the former reality star died, a TMZ report claims that Danny Dias might have committed suicide. TMZ report claims that his body was discovered at his Brooklyn apartment on Monday.
It quoted a law enforcement officer as saying that that he believes the actor might have committed suicide while on drugs.
The TMZ report went on to add “We’re told the friend left the apartment and over the next 2 days called Dias, getting no response. The friend became concerned and on Monday, he went to check on Dias and found him dead in the room,” writes TMZ.
Another report by the US Magazine claims that New York Police PIO informed the entertainment blog that EMS responded to a 911 and pronounced Dias dead at the scene at approximately 5pm. The US Magazine said, “The Medical Examiner is going to determine the cause of death”.
The reality star appeared on Season 13 of Road Rules. At that time, he was living in New York and pursuing acting, singing, and writing, though he’d previously worked in banking and finance. He also appeared in the series The Challenge, but was eliminated in very early stage after merely four episodes. The reality star went to Westminster Choir College at Rider University in Princeton, New Jersey, until 2003. He majored in Music Education.
