New Delhi: India’s main opposition party Congress has attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his ‘verbal belligerence’ and asked him to take action. Earlier in the day Prime Minister Modi had said that India was ready to fight a 1000 years of war with Pakistan. He also asked Pakistani people to rise against its rulers who were fooling the people of Pakistan.
While talking to a leading news agency, Congress Party leader Manish Tewari said that Prime Minister was “shooting the breeze” following Uri terrorist attack on army Garrison in Kashmir valley.
Manish Tewari went on to add “Prime Minister is only shooting the breeze. He is trying to hide the inefficiency of his government behind rhetoric”. The Congress leader’s remarks came after the Prime Minister targetted Pakistan in his speech in Kozhikode at the BJP’s National Council meet. Modi accused Pakistan of exporting terrorism, saying that “There is one country in Asia which wants bloodbath in Asia”.
