Chester Bennington tribute site launched – Funeral service details

ViewsHeadlines Desk,

Chester Bennington’s death came so suddenly and so unexpectedly that his family and friends are still shocked, unable to come to terms with what happened to the Linkin Park lead singer.

They are heartbroken over the sudden loss of life of the celebrated singer whose albums have been sold in tens of millions in the last more than a decade, when he started hogging the limelight. Meanwhile there are rumors doing the rounds claiming that he didn’t die a natural death, and was killed.

These rumor mongers are trying to claim that as Chester Bennington and his friend and celebrated singer Chris Cornell’s death came in largely similar manner, both the deaths were not natural and were homicides. We know that these are merely rumors, but millions of people have fallen into the trap, believing the rumors to be true.

One of his fans, writing on his Facebook page said, “I will go kill the person who killed the singer even if I have to travel thousands of miles”.

Reports suggest that the celebrated singer was found dead at his home in Palos Verdes Estates, California, early Thursday morning, after an apparent suicide. He was 41. “Most of my problems are problems that I cause myself,” he continued in the interview. “That’s what that song [“Heavy”] is about – that time when you consciously look at that. Once you acknowledge what it is, you can separate yourself from it and do something about it, as opposed to just being in it.”

The Linkin Park singer is apparently most well-known for his screamed, emotional vocals on Linkin Park’s biggest hits, including “In the End” and “One Step Closer.” For “Heavy,” the band’s latest single, the singer lent calmer vocals alongside pop singer Kiiara.

In the meantime, Linkin Park set up a tribute site for singer Chester Bennington, who committed suicide. The site — which seemed to be having connectivity issues in its first few hours, possibly due to heavy traffic — is fairly simple. It features a photo of Bennington onstage, surrounded by the light from thousands of fans’ phones, with the hashtag #RIPCHESTER. The site also features an area for fans to post messages, which was filling rapidly at press time. Meanwhile Singer’s funeral service details are awaited. We will update as soon as the details are announced.
