Brandon Mychal Smith ‘America’s Got Talent’ host is a done deal, almost – TMZ

Los Angeles: Brandon Mychal Smith may be headed to host ‘America’s Got Talent’, a TMZ report claims. If this is true, it is going to be a massive stride in his career as a Television host.

Apparently he was not the first choice for one of the biggest television shows in the US. Marlon Wayans was the first choice. But reports suggest that things fell flat over terms and negotiations seem to have hit a roadblock of sorts.
The 27-year old actor is best known for playing Bug Wendal in Gridiron Gang, Li’l Danny Dawkins in Phil of the Future, Nico Harris in Sonny with a Chance and So Random!, Stubby in Starstruck. His played the role of Harris in MTV television series Sweet/Vicious.

While things have yet to be finalized and papers to be signed, but TMZ report claims that deal will happen soon, possibly in the next day. “We’re told Marlon was first choice … in no small part because he’s a major name and has a history with the show as a guest judge. Our sources say reps for both sides went back and forth several days ago but Marlon wanted more than the network was willing to pay”, says TMZ. Brandon Mychal Smith net worth is around $85 million.
