New Jersey: Brandon Marshall’s quest to find a new home has been rewarded, and rewarded richly. The leading wide receiver is all set to move to New Jersey.
This has the entire National Football League (NFL) excited. It was known fact that Brandon Marshall was seeking a new home away from New York Jets. His 2016 season was not very fruitful or memorable for him. He was not able to contribute much in his side’s performance.
While it may have something to do with regular shuttling at the quarterback position and his locker room controversies, he was really, really frustrated there.
There is no denying that a star player of his rank doesn’t need to wait much to be hired by other teams. It took him not even a full week after the Jets granted his request to be released, the veteran wide receiver found another team in New Jersey.
Marshall spent two seasons at New York Jets After. Now his stint at the Giants is expected to give him the opportunity to line up across from Odell Beckham Jr. and catch passes from Eli Manning.
Following the latest development, Marshall posted a photo of his signed Giants contract on Twitter and Instagram on Wednesday with the caption, “Done Deal!!!! #GMEN.” NFL insiders claim that the new contract with Giants will make him richer by as much as $12 million.
