Los Angeles: Aramazd Andressian, Jr.’s father was arrested by police for the disappearance of the 5-year old child. The young child whose parents are in the process of being separated through divorce was reportedly last seen by his mother through Skype three days ago.

His mother told the officials that she saw her son on Thursday for the last time. It was through Skype that the concerned mother met her child the last time. Since then there is no trace of the kid.

In the meantime while releasing details about the child’s disappearance, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department said they will be adding resources to ensure better search for the missing child.

A distraught mother of the young child reported Aramazd Andressian, Jr. missing on Saturday.  The case is rather strange. His mother says that her son was visiting with his father last week and was scheduled to be returned to his mother. When that didn’t occur, she called police.

To add to the mystery of the missing kid, the child’s father, Aramazd Andressian, Sr. was reportedly found in an unconscious condition by a passerby at Arroyo Park in South Pasadena. He was taken to the hospital, where he feigned ignorance about his son or his whereabouts.

In the meantime, police have accused him of withholding information about the child. Later Aramazd Andressian, Sr. was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment and child abduction.

Chief Art Miller of the South Pasadena Police Department was quoted by the CBSNews as saying, “The father was communicative. He was not very forthcoming with information, was not very specific on his timeline, where he was with the child, where he was when the child was lost. He doesn’t really have a full memory of actually being with the boy”. In the meantime a judge set Andressian’s bail to $10 million.
