ViewsHeadlines Desk,

Apple seems to have a huge surprise for its smartphone mavens across the world. The tech giant, along with a new version of iPad tablet, has also introduced its top selling smartphones, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in red colour.

The two handsets in bright red color will be available in the market without much delay. The new addition is going to attract many more people using older versions who may like to get the new versions given the impressive look.

Nonetheless, the old time Apple watchers may feel disappointed over the red color that the tech giant has launched. Apple co-founder, Steve Jobs, might have never allowed the red color versions to enter the market. He was so much fond of aesthetics that he would have shot down the idea at the nascent stage.

The tech giant said that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus RED Special Edition will be launched in 128GB and 256GB models starting at Rs 82,000 from Apple authorised resellers in India. The special edition (PRODUCT) RED iPhone should be made available in India by the end of March.

“Since we began working with (RED) 10 years ago, our customers have made a significant impact in fighting the spread of AIDS through the purchase of our products, from the original iPod nano (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition all the way to today’s lineup of Beats products and accessories for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO while talking about the new color handsets said.

He went on to add, “The introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT)RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED), and we can’t wait to get it into customers’ hands.”
