Andres Mayora caused the fatal Bronx accident: Everything you need to know
A horrific accident in Bronx cased by a drunk driver of a vehicle took the life of a person and injured two other people. The driver whose identity was withheld yesterday, has been made public by authorities.
Authorities have now identified the heavily drunk driver of Jeep as Andres Mayora. Police officials have said that the driver was so heavily drunk that he didn’t realize that he had taken the life of an innocent person and injured two other people.
To be true, he was trying to drive away in his vehicle after the accident, not realizing that one of the wheels of his shining toy was missing following the ferocious accident.
An eyewitness told authorities that the driver was over speeding on Bronx Blvd. in Parkside when he hit into the driver’s side of a silver 2012 Nissan Altima at about 2:50 a.m.
Meanwhile a report in the NYDailyNews said that the man was too drunk to realize that he had caused a five vehicle wreck. “Even as Andres Mayora, 54, was handcuffed to his bed at Jacobi Hospital, the boozed-up Bronxite showed no signs of regret or remorse for the 2:50 a.m. wreck that also injured two women”, said the report.
The report quoted a survivor as saying, “He didn’t even realize he killed someone…It made my blood boil.”
