5th Micro and Small Business Summit on Import Export for Muslims held

Mumbra: The fifth Micro and Small Business Summit on Import Export successfully concluded at Diamond Hall, Mumbra recently. The program was successfully co-organized by the Rafa Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. The one day seminar was attended by about 3000 people. Nearly 500 businessmen in import-export field utilized the opportunity to extend their business.

In this programme the businessmen were provided information about government schemes regarding raw products and goods. They were also guided on how to get registered, list their products to do bulk national and international business on bulk selling websites like eBay and Alibaba and other such e-commerce platforms. The participants were enlightened about the pros of doing online business. This proved to be very useful for small scale businessmen.

During the important program, useful information on government schemes on import-export was provided to the participants.

CB Singh of government organisation APEDA said that to profit from government schemes, businessmen should have their businesses registered. He also added that his organization also helps in selling everything everywhere. The license to do business is provided by APEDA itself.

Through e-commerce websites like eBay and Alibaba, products can be sent or received from anywhere. Representatives from these ecommerce websites guided the audience on how to sell and buy products on their websites, as well as pointed out the profits and technical details of doing business through these websites.

Several businessmen of Mumbra were also given the fifth Successful Mumbra Businessman Award. The winners related their fifteen to ten years of business experience.

These kind of perograms encourage development and growth in a place that is rather infamous for being backward and underdeveloped.
