At least one student has reportedly died at a high school at Spokane in Washington. At least three other people have also been taken to hospital. All the schools in the locality have been put under lock down. The shooting reportedly happened at Freeman High School at around 10:30 a.m.
Nonetheless it isnot yet clear if the people taken to the hospital were students or teachers. The injured have been taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center where they were in critical condition.
Reports suggest that there are multiple ambulances and a Lifeflight helicopter stationed outside the school building.
In the meantime Spokane Public Schools on Twitter said due to a reported shooting near Freeman High School, all schools “are in full lockdown as a precautionary measure.”
While talking about the incident, Teresa Fuller, a spokesperson for the Spokane Police Deparment, said that all students, including those in hiding places, were located and cleared out of the building.

She went on to add, “The high school is completely cleared of kiddos and teachers and staff and now the process begins for us to look at the investigative part of this and what happened…that’s going to take us some time”.
